By accessing our website at joymoving123.com, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

3. Services Provided
New Joy Moving Company - A DBA of PrimeMoveX Corp provides professional moving and related services, including but not limited to:
- Local residential and commercial moving services
- Long-distance and interstate moving services
- Piano and specialty item moving
- Packing and unpacking services
- Storage solutions
- Recycling and removal services
All services are subject to availability and our operational capacity. We reserve the right to decline service requests at our discretion.
4. Estimates and Pricing
4.1 Estimates
All estimates provided are non-binding unless specifically stated otherwise in writing. Estimates are based on information provided by the Customer and are subject to change based on:
- Actual volume and weight of items to be moved
- Accessibility conditions at pickup and delivery locations
- Additional services requested on moving day
- Unexpected delays or complications
4.2 Pricing Structure
Our pricing is based on factors including but not limited to:
- Time and labor required
- Distance of the move
- Size and weight of items
- Special handling requirements
- Accessibility challenges (stairs, elevators, long carries)
- Time of year and demand
4.3 Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
- Packing materials and supplies
- Storage services
- Extra stops
- Waiting time due to Customer delays
- Overtime charges for moves exceeding estimated time
- Special handling of fragile or valuable items
5. Booking and Confirmation
5.1 Reservation Process
To book our services, Customers must:
- Provide accurate and complete moving information
- Confirm moving dates and times
- Provide valid contact information
- Accept our written estimate or contract
5.2 Deposits and Payment
A deposit may be required to secure your moving date. The deposit amount will be applied to your final bill. We accept various payment methods including cash, check, and major credit cards.
5.3 Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled moving time to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to charges up to 50% of the estimated job cost.
6. Customer Responsibilities
6.1 Preparation
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate inventory information
- Disconnecting and preparing appliances according to manufacturer instructions
- Backing up computer data
- Removing personal and valuable items from furniture
- Ensuring access to both pickup and delivery locations
- Obtaining necessary parking permits or reserving loading zones
6.2 Prohibited Items
We cannot move hazardous materials including but not limited to:
- Flammable liquids and gases
- Explosives and ammunition
- Corrosive or toxic materials
- Perishable foods
- Plants and live animals
- Items of extraordinary value (unless specially arranged)
6.3 Valuables and Important Documents
Customers should personally transport:
- Cash, jewelry, and precious stones
- Important documents and records
- Computer backup files
- Personal medications
- Items of sentimental value
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Basic Liability Coverage
Our basic liability coverage provides protection at $0.60 per pound per item. This is included at no additional charge but provides only minimal protection.
7.2 Full Value Protection
We offer optional Full Value Protection insurance for comprehensive coverage. Under this option, we are liable for the replacement value of lost or damaged goods. Additional charges apply based on the declared value of your shipment.
7.3 Limitations of Liability
Our liability is limited to:
- Direct damages to your property during the moving process
- The coverage level selected by the Customer
- Damages reported within the specified time frame
We are not liable for:
- Damages due to acts of God, weather, or natural disasters
- Damages to items improperly packed by the Customer
- Pre-existing damage not disclosed before the move
- Consequential or indirect damages
- Delays beyond our reasonable control
7.4 Claims Process
All damage or loss claims must be:
- Noted on the inventory at the time of delivery
- Reported in writing within 9 months of delivery
- Supported by appropriate documentation
8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, severe weather conditions
- Government actions, regulations, or restrictions
- Labor disputes or strikes
- Equipment failures or transportation issues
- Public health emergencies
9. Website Use and Intellectual Property
9.1 Permitted Use
Our website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate our moving services. You may use our website for lawful purposes only.
9.2 Intellectual Property Rights
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of New Joy Moving Company - A DBA of PrimeMoveX Corp and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
9.3 Prohibited Activities

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Santa Clara County, California.
11.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be filed in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
13. Regulatory Compliance
Our moving services are regulated by:
- California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) for intrastate moves
- Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) for interstate moves
- Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations
We maintain all required licenses, permits, and insurance coverage as mandated by applicable regulations.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that comes closest to the intention of the original provision.
15. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated to existing customers via email or direct notification.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written moving contract, constitute the entire agreement between you and New Joy Moving Company - A DBA of PrimeMoveX Corp regarding our services. These Terms supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
