Long-distance moves rarely cost more because of the distance

The 380 miles are fixed. These three things are what blow up the bill.

Paying for a half-empty truck

A one-bedroom load usually fills about a third of a long-haul truck — but most long-distance quotes start at a full truck.

→ We charge by the space you actually take.

Weekly Scheduled Route + Pay-by-Space

Our own trucks already run between Southern and Northern California every week. You're not chartering a truck — you're booking space on one that's already going.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the LA → Bay Area trip take?

The drive is about 6–7 hours. Because we run a weekly scheduled route, your delivery window depends on that week's schedule — we give you a specific pickup date and delivery window when we quote, so you're never left guessing.

Can I move just a few items?

Yes — that's exactly what shared loads are for. A sofa, a few boxes, or a single piano can all go on their own. You pay for the space you take, not a whole truck.

What happens if something gets damaged?

We're licensed (CAL-T 202312, USDOT 4408016, MC 1557849) and carry over $1M in liability coverage. Everything is wrapped before loading and floors and doorframes are padded first. If something does go wrong, you deal with us directly — not a broker's subcontractor, because the truck and crew are ours.

Can you store my things in between?

Yes. We have our own storage — we move you out, hold your things, and deliver when your new place is ready. No second mover, no second bill.

Do you move pianos and valuables?

Yes. Uprights, grands, artwork, large appliances and high-end furniture — we have the equipment and the experience. These get assessed on site or by photo first, then quoted individually.

Do you also move Bay Area → LA?

Yes — we run both directions every week, with the same crews and the same pricing logic.

How do I pay?

When we confirm your quote we walk through payment methods, deposit and timing — all spelled out before anything starts. Want to know now? Just call 626-783-5258.

How far ahead should I book?

One to two weeks ahead is ideal — end-of-month and weekend slots fill first. Last-minute? Call anyway; we have trucks on the route every week.

Stop Paying for Empty Truck Space

Tell us the route and roughly what you're moving. We'll come back within 30 minutes with an all-in number. Don't like it? Walk away — the quote is free.
